He then called the client and explained that he could do the job which but bring about poor results. However, if only he give him an extension of a week, then, he would produce high-quality results. The client having heard both sides of the story decided to add my friend for one more week. The friend performed very well and was paid very well including being given some tips. This situation taught me to work on my communication and interpersonal skills. These skills help me to relate well with my customers.

Xeriscaping uses very little grass and sometimes the grass is not required. Xeriscaping requires very little mowing. However, it requires maintenance including weeding, watering, and pruning. It is easy to maintain a xeriscape landscape since it does not demand the use of fertilizer. To keep it from weeds, I will roll weed cloth on the soil before I put the xeriscape. I will also control pests such as mites, bugs, whiteflies, gnats, and aphids by applying pesticides.
16. Please Take Me Through How You Water Your Flowers
I water my flowers early in the morning to ensure that they retain some moisture beneath the soil before the heat of the day begins to heat. I give flowers water which is equivalent to one inch of water every week. This is to encourage root development to enable the flower to reach deeply for residual water. While watering the flowers, I do not put water directly where the roots are. Instead, I put the soaker hose between the flowers to soak the soil deeply and slowly to ensure the healthy growth of the plant.
17. What Is The Difference Between Mulching And Aerating?
Mulching is covering the soil using dry vegetative material. Mulching helps in reducing evaporation, reducing soil erosion, suppressing weed growth, retaining moisture, and providing plants with nutrients as the mulch decomposes. Aerating is putting small holes into the soil to allow water, nutrients, and air to enter the roots. This makes a lawn grow well without the negative effects of compaction of the soil.
18. Explain The Types Of Mulching That You Are Familiar With
I am familiar with using organic and inorganic mulches. Organic mulches are made from formerly living materials such as grass clippings, straw, chopped leaves, compost, sawdust, wood chips, pine needles, shredded bark, and even paper. Organic mulching helps in improving the soil as it decomposes. On the other hand, inorganic mulching includes using black plastics and geotextiles such as landscape fabrics. Organic mulch warms the soil as well as releases heat at night. This keeps the heat-loving plants such as cherry tomatoes vigorous and cozy.

I have both experience laying sod and sowing grass. I am an expert in developing healthy lawns either through sowing grass or using sod. Sowing grass means planting new grass from seeds.

21. What Are The Best Areas To Plant Flowers And Foliage?
Plant do best in soil that is well-drained and loose as well as with lots of organic materials in it. The groundsman needs to dig enough area to plant the flower and that can leave room for compost to be put in to help in improving the structure of the soil. Foliage is an indoor plant that is grown for its great-looking leaves rather than flowers. They need to be placed in areas with bright light.
22. What Factors Do You Consider When Making Plant And Flower Recommendations To A Client?
When making plant and flower recommendations to a client, I consider the following factors:
Environment: I seek to find out the climate and soil type of where the client comes from to know which plant would do best in his garden.
Plant size: some plants grow very tall and spread with additional roots that can damage the foundation of the client’s home.
Flowering time: This helps in planning which plants flowers at which season of the year. If the customer prefers a plant that thrives throughout the year, the best option would be the evergreen plant.
Maintenance:A Customer needs to know the growing requirements of every plant or flower that he or she needs. This will help in choosing from low-maintenance plants with less work or vice versa.

I am now focusing on taking more breaks, and lessening the impact of too much work so that I can contribute more.
