I highly value quality customer service and will prioritize it when working here. In such an instance, I will carefully and calmly listen to the customer and identify the main problem that made them dissatisfied with the services I offered and fix it. I will also learn from such a situation to help with similar future experiences.
6. Can You Handle Rejection and Negativity?
Anyone who works for an insurance company understands just how common rejection and negativity are. Amidst the praises, you will also encounter upset clients who may talk to you rudely and even reject your proposed offer. The employer will only give you a chance if such things don’t affect you during your job or in the long term.
Yes. I normally have realistic expectations about my work and can manage its negative aspects. Rejections can be painful, but I normally understand that the person rejects the offer and not me as an individual. I have had more ‘nos’ than ‘Yeses’ in this job but still manage to win some customers by being reasonably persistent.
7. Do You Normally Set Personal Goals in the Job?

You should therefore appreciate goals and convince the interviewer that they aren’t stressful for you. It doesn’t matter whether you set them yourselves or someone does that for you.
Yes. I love setting goals since they keep me on my toes. I do not also find them as stressful as one would expect. It is nice to have a target one aspires to and a benchmark to meet. I have also grown fond of reporting and monitoring, which can help me identify areas that need improvement.
8. What Motivates You Most in Your Work?
This is a common question in all interviews that helps the interviewer establish what pushes you to work harder and do your best. It would be best if you refrained from giving material reasons, or you will come off as materialistic, a trait that can easily make you lose the job. I have targets that I normally strive to meet and exceed. They motivate me to be at my best and give my all. I also value my team members. Therefore, I cannot fail to give my all, knowing that we all depend on one another.

I don’t have a problem working outside of standard working hours, provided I am informed early enough. I consider myself highly flexible, a trait that my former employers loved. I can easily cover in for someone over the weekend.

Why should GEICO consider giving you a chance? This is where you sell yourself by talking about your strengths, qualities, or the value you intend to bring or add to the workplace. Convince the interviewer that you will be a good addition to the auto insurance company.

I love challenges and therefore feel like I will be doing something slightly different but still relevant in the next five years. I plan to pursue data and analytics by enrolling in Computer Science or Mathematics course in the nearest college and making use of my passion for numbers.

I believe that my biggest strength lies in my peoples skills. I can easily interact with people and offer much-needed help. This becomes more of a follow-up question if asked immediately after the previous one. Do not tell the interviewer that you do not have any weakness or cannot think of one at the moment. We are all humans and therefore have our shortcomings. Do not also mention a weakness that is critical to the job, or you will not get it.
My greatest weakness is my fear of public speaking. I normally panic and experience bouts of anxiety when faced with a large audience. However, I have enrolled in a public speaking class, which should help me overcome this fear. I believe that I will improve with time.

I prefer face to face interactions with customers, given my people’s skills. I am a social and outgoing person who finds great pride in being part of customer facing situations. However, that does not mean that I cannot work on the background if called upon.
