While I was working with company X, A client had paid 600$, but in the invoice, I wrote 60$. I forgot to cross-check the invoice, and when I gave it out, the client was called and was requested to pay the balance.
The client was angry that he was being requested to pay up yet he was done with his debt. I was advised to cross-check it, and I realized that the fault was on my side. I apologized both to my boss and my client.
Henceforth, I decided that I’ll be crosschecking the invoice and chose to be keen with every detail.
