Become a Certified Six Sigma Professional

To acquire the six sigma green belt certification, the candidates need to clear a certification testing exam known as IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt™ Exam. The applicants must clear the examination by scoring 70% or more marks.

There are no prerequisites to sit in the IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Exam, but for obtaining the certification, there are some prerequisites, which we will discuss later in this blog post.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt™ Certification Exam

As mentioned earlier, ‌every student is required to pass the IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Exam, with at least 70% of marks. This examination consists of a total of 100 questions with 3 hours of total allocated time. The green belt examination is a closed book type, proctored exam.

Out of these 100 questions, 20 are multiple-choice type questions and 20 are true/false types. The questions asked in this examination are taken from major sections of the IASSC Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge.

Requirements or Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to sit in the IASSC Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt™ Exam, but in order to obtain the certification, you will need to get at least 3 years of working experience in any related field. The job must be a full-time position and should match one of the areas listed in the Green Belt body of knowledge. The internships and part-time employment will not be entrained for this certification.
