21. What Did You Do In The Last Year To Improve Your Knowledge?

Since the last two years were spent in a virtual world due to COVID 19 and the overall crisis all across the world, I got a chance to update a few of my skills only. I took a few online courses from renowned international institutes and got trained by several virtual training sessions. In the meantime, I also started focusing on my own YouTube channel which was always neglected due to my workload. Now people have started returning to offices but I spent most of the time at home during the lockdown situation.

22. Do You Prefer To Work Independently Or Do You Thrive In A Team Environment?

I have worked in both capacities and have enjoyed both environments. Both have their benefits and can be a learning opportunity depending on the circumstances. No doubt, independent work has fewer distractions but you don’t get a chance to brainstorm with your team. I like brainstorming sessions because you get criticism internally that helps you create a better content piece. I have always been blessed to have great team members who are as passionate about content creation and I am looking forward to the same warm environment here too.

23. When You Are Piled Up With Work And Need To Meet Deadlines, How Will You Handle The Situation?

I would have panicked if I was new to this career, now I am a pretty calm person. I avoid stressful situations by managing my tasks beforehand. I am a true believer in work-life balance and I do not promote late-night culture at work. I am always in favor of giving appropriate time to you and your loved ones after work. If there is any such work where timelines are being hard to manage, I would discuss it with the relevant team leader to either extend the timeline so that everyone can come with a fresh mind the next day, otherwise I would divide work within my team so that everyone gets a chance to leave on time. If still, there is a load, I won’t hesitate in asking my team to spend a few extra hours and complete the work. In the next meeting, I will make sure each of my team members is aligned on the weekly and daily tasks coming our way so that there are no surprises for anyone.

I believe good content should resonate with the audience in a second. The attention span of the online audience on social media is just a few seconds and it’s very tricky to grab it. If you have made the online user click on your link or newsfeed, there are chances that they will watch more of you as per the algorithm.

Never take it to heart and learn from it- this is my only response when dealing with criticism even on a bad day. I make sure that I am not losing my heart and most of the time patience to start keyboard war online. If someone is criticizing my work, it means they have spent a good minimum of 5 minutes on my piece of content. They gave me their 5 minutes; I will give them my five minutes to go through their feedback even its criticism.
